Each week your child will be introduced to five new sight words. They will be expected to spell these words correctly in their daily spelling. These words are posted on our Word Wall. We will work with these words all week in our Work on Words Choice during Daily 5 and we will test on them each Friday. Additionally, students will have a Word Family of the week in which we study phonemic patterns in common words. I will randomly choose five of the Word Family words to be tested on our Friday test.
